+ Millini Makes it Big with PR Week Award

A market report designed by Millini and photographed in-house by Stef Sale, has picked up a top prize at the prestigious PR Week Awards.

Britvic's Soft Drinks Category Report won the award for Best Corporate Publication and was also a finalist in the Best National Campaign category. The prize was presented to Britvic's PR company, Touch PR (formerly known as PBC).

Britvic wanted to emphasise the size of the soft drinks category compared with other fmcg categories through the design of this year's report.

Millini came up with the idea of using an oversized A4 format featuring large headline type and big photographs of soft drink occasions featuring massive objects such as an American-style fridge.

Sally Marshall from Britvic has sent a message to Millini thanking it for its involvement in producing the winning report as it was a great overall team effort.

The report, which has been produced by Millini for several years, was published in March and distributed to customers of Britvic and trade press journalists.

+ Welcome DST International

Millini has been appointed as DST International's sole digital agency following a four way pitch. Phase one of the project is the design and implementation of DSTi's flagship corporate website, Content Management Systems and solution partner websites for DSTi Billing and DSTi Output. DST International (DSTi) is at the forefront of development and implementation of 'best of breed' asset management and work management systems and is a well respected voice globally. DSTi has recently expanded into related utility billing and the sophisticated colour printed markets. DSTi's parent company, DST Systems Inc, services over 92 million accounts and had a revenue in 2004 of $2.43 billion.

The Steak Masterclass CD-ROM from the English Beef and Lamb Executive is now launched. Created to provide caterers, with a quality guide to selecting, storing and cooking quality steak.

Part 1 provides a step-by-step guide to preparing and cooking the perfect steak and offers a unique facility which enables you to print out the information that is relevant to your business, for use as a reference or training tool.

Part 2 features delicious recipes to inspire you to try something a bit different as well your guide to 'Easy Going: Alfresco Time' - containing hints and tips on how to create a fantastic summer menu and including advice on hosting a barbecue and promoting your event.

+ 'Over Thirty Months' (OTM) CD-ROM launched

Millini have produced a CD ROM for The English Beef and Lamb Executive to provide the beef industry with important technical and market background information so as to increase awareness of the opportunities that exist. It offers an illustrated guide to getting the most from cow beef that will become available.

+ ADT Fire and Security

Millini have been appointed to work on two Direct Mail Campaigns for ADT who are based in Sunbury. The first campaign is is aimed a 12,500 GP Group Practices, Practice Managers in particular, 'Say No to Violence in the Workplace'.

The campaign has strong typographical messages using postcards, posters and personalised letters. The second campaign initial targeted at 6,000 CEO's, MD's uses a 2 way Lenticular mailing to grab the attention of these key decision makers. This campaign highlights the CCTV Monitoring Services that ADT provide in the business community.

+ Pottaker's

A highlight in the Ottakar's calendar, Millini was commissioned to photography 'The Harry Potter Weekend' centred around their Clapham and Putney stores. Ottakar's Bookstore renamed all their bookshops for this global book launch which started at 00.01am on the Friday night.

Our photographer captured the weekend of events from the queues outside, into the stores with people rushing to buy the eagerly awaited book, competition winners, fancy dress and a host of other in-store activities. Millini are currently working on the next Interim and 2006 Annual reports.

After completing their Interim Report in September, Millini has successfully designed and produced the 2005 Annual Report. The design is based on Facts and figures to compliment AVEVA's successful full year figures with a report that strategically positions them for further growth.

+ Look for the mark

Undertaking a major Quality Standard Mark initiative for both consumers and trade has once again led the British Pig Executive (BPEX) to turn to Millini for their expertise in producing the official website for Quality Standard Mark for pork, bacon and ham.

Not all pork sold in this country is produced to UK welfare standards. Two-thirds of imported pork comes from farms that operate welfare practices that would be illegal in Britain.

The Quality Standard Mark helps consumers make an informed decision when purchasing pork, bacon, ham and sausages. This website provides information about the Quality Standard Mark and the facility to check which products stocked by supermarkets contain pork produced in accordance with UK welfare legislation.

For the 2nd year in succession Millini has produced the Annual Report for Ottakars, the leading specialist book retailer. The result was a professional, concise and beautifully designed document which Ottakar's were proud to give out to their shareholders.

+ Moon Tyger Tea Co.

Millini have created the brand identity and packaging for a new range of quality tea products for the MOON TYGER TEA CO. The project includes designs for 12 different flavoured teas (in bags) as well as a precious collection of loose teas in a presentation gift box. The packaging is due to be launched later this year.
